On Saturday 5th July, Ghetto Fabulous
(the current Varsity National Hip Hop Champions)
will host a dance-a-thon here at Streets Ahead studios from 11am-4pm.

There will be lots of different classes each hour with many different styles of hip hop being taught (krump, locking, breaking, wacking, new skool & house). Sponsorship cards are available from the studio. The minimum amount that needs to be raised to take part is €30. That's 5 hours of dance for only €30.

We would sure love to see as many dancers as possible getting involved to help our team finance their way to the World Hip Hop Championships. This is open to non-members also. This is the 3rd consecative year that Streets Ahead has won the National Championships & with it, qualified to represent Ireland at the World Championships.

On Sunday 13th July, Streets Ahead will host a hip-hop & breakdance competition at Portmarnock Sports & Leisure centre.

This competition is a fundraiser for the World Hip Hop Championships fund so ALL proceeds will go to this. It starts at 12pm and contains the following sections:

• 4 on 4 new skool
• 2 on 2 locking
• 2 on 2 breaking
• 1 on 1 popping.

The price is €12 per person. This competition is open to students from all schools & will be a great event. So, please support us by coming along even for those who don't wish to compete there will be an opportunity to watch & to practice your moves.
